Heather’s father always said
that she was a born space planner and organizer, so, it was
of no surprise to her friends and family that in 2005, she
would start her own professional organizing business
“Organizing Works”.
She attended Western Michigan University and received a
Bachelor of Science in behavioral psychology with an
emphasis in industrial organization and holds minors in
practical writing and music.
Heather’s purpose as a professional organizer
is not only to aid her clients in becoming organized but to
ultimately help them stay organized by providing them with
information, systems and or products customized to their
needs and personality. Using her innate abilities along with
her education, Heather is able to understand the personality
traits of her clients, the causes of their disorganization
and the effects it has on each of them, thus providing a
personal approach to their organizational needs.
Heather pulls from her background in sales
and marketing to help her serve as the 2008-2009 Marketing
Director for the National Association of Professional
Organizers Los Angeles Chapter (NAPO-LA) Board of Directors.
She is also a member of the National Association of
Professional Organizers (NAPO), Faithful Organizers, and
NSGCD – the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization.
When not working with clients or at her own
business, Heather enjoys singing and racing on a 42’
Catalina sailboat out of Ventura.
